The Story Behind Logo Animation and Those Random Dice That Actually Make Sense

Hi.

This blog post is basically a manifesto I’m writing for myself, with the small hope that maybe someone, someday, might read it and feel inspired.

I believe everyone should have an idea that drives them.

Mine? To become the master of myself.

That’s what I’ve been working on. For over a year now, I’ve been in a kind of voluntary “working relationship” with myself—trying to train my mind, shape it, sharpen it.

Now you might say:

> “Okay, cool, but what’s that got to do with this site? Isn’t this supposed to be a logo animation studio?”

You’re right.

This site is my one-man logo animation studio experiment.

There’s this thing I have, something I deeply believe has a future—but maybe I’ll need years to prove it. That thing is called Line and Motion.

To me, it’s not just a brand or a portfolio. It’s a kind of energy.

Movement itself.

My goal is to understand the nature of motion and use that to bring stories into the most powerful symbols we know: logos.

It’s an exciting path.

And in the end, it always circles back to one thing: training the mind.

> Never forget—your inner world shapes your outer conditions.

Thoughts are powerful. They shape what’s real.

But let’s not go too deep just yet.

Let me first tell you about this thing I call the Alea System,

a workflow where the actual “boss” is the Universe.

What’s the Alea System?
What’s the Alea System?

What’s the Alea System?

(Career Management with Dice?)

I have a bunch of goals. I listed the important ones on a simple table.

And then I created what you might call a dice system—or maybe barbut style time management?

The idea is simple:

I do what I’m supposed to.

The rest is not my job. That belongs to the Universe, fate, life—whatever you wanna call it.

The system has six fields of focus.

Maybe six days of creation? Who knows.

I just told myself: “The gods probably have their reasons.”

So I picked six areas and assigned each to a number on the die.

ree

Every morning, I roll the dice.

Whatever number comes up, that’s my first task of the day.

If I can manage three tasks in a day? That’s a damn good day.

By task, I mean one 42-minute focused session.

Why 42? Cause why not?

Because attention is the core of willpower—and will is how I strengthen my mind.

So yeah, I’m using dice to train willpower.

Let’s get into what happened with the first rolls.

First Dice: Philosophy and the Power of Deep Thinking

Let’s talk about the first die I rolled in this little game I play with the Universe.

I call it a game because life itself is a big-ass game.

And the more I train my mind, the more I feel like I’ll be able to see the joke behind it all—on a deeper level.

But I’m in no rush. Everything has its moment.

Anyway, what was the first number?

Five.

In my system, that meant diving into a book called The School of Gods and pouring 42 minutes into it.

But it’s not just about reading.

It’s reading, underlining, thinking, arguing with AI, digging deep.

So much came out of those 42 minutes.

Even “Miss Universe” herself seemed to love what I was doing—

because I rolled again… and bam: another five.

So I spent the second 42 minutes in the same place. Same school.

🎲 Dice 5 (x2): The School of Gods – “Everything Is My Fault” (Mea Culpa)

This philosophy is basically a cooler way of saying: “It’s all on me.”

Meaning: I am fully responsible.

The school says:

No matter how it looks, nothing enters your life without your permission—conscious or unconscious.

And I thought:

> “Bro, how do two people go through the same shit and tell completely different stories?”

Because the mind creates the experience.

For example, I hated high school. I remember it as cold, untrustworthy, kind of lifeless.

But my friends talk about it with joy and nostalgia.

And I’m like—“Wait, weren’t we in the same damn place?”

Apparently not.

They created their version. I created mine.

And our minds gave us exactly what we were wired for.

Another insight the school gave me:

The real difference between people isn’t what we usually think.

It’s not money, looks, intelligence.

It’s how much inner responsibility they’ve accepted.

That’s what creates the different “levels” people live on.

Or as I like to call it, depth of perception.

The deeper you see, the higher you live.

Let’s move on to the next dice roll.

Dice 1: Cinematography & Framing – Visuals That Tell Stories

After The School of Gods, I rolled a 1.

Which meant: cinematography practice.

Why do I do this?

Because I don’t just design logos and animate them.

I create logos that have stories.

And I want to animate them like a storyteller—like a director.

So I study frames.

This session, I grabbed some early scenes from Lazarus and started building a visual library.

I roughly traced the compositions, asked myself:

> “Where’s the light? Where’s the character? Where’s the camera—and why is it there?”

That’s how I sharpen my storytelling.

ree

Dice 6: Python / Coding Practice – Sharpening the Technical Side

Next up: I rolled a 6. The legendary şeş.

In my system, that means Python—programming work.

You might ask:

> “What’s that doing in a logo animation routine?”

Good question.

Truth is, I want to really learn at least one programming language properly.

I’ve dabbled in many, but I’m a mid-low tier coder at best.

Still, this game of mine said “Roll a 6,” and I listened.

I followed a Python course on Udemy.

Started getting into functions and all that jazz.

42 minutes of tech focus.

Not sure how this will fit into my creative life yet.

But hey—maybe the Universe knows something I don’t.

Dice 2 (x2): The Witcher Project – Bringing Logo Vision to Life

And finally, the dice rolled again: Two.

And this one came with a little twist (read: cheat).

Number 2 means my current active project:

The Witcher-inspired logo animation.

Storyboard Page2
Storyboard Page2

This is the most “real” part of my larger logo storytelling vision.

I’ll be sharing photos, notes, storyboards, character sketches—all from this project.

Right now I’m studying Geralt through a course on 21 Draw.

Once the characters are locked, I’ll move into animatic phase.

Now here’s where I cheated.

I stretched the 42-minute rule. Tried to push it into 2 x 42 sessions.

But that didn’t really work.

The price?

I got tired.

Got frustrated.

Didn’t even get the result I wanted.

Payment was made—in the form of lost joy.

So yeah… note to self:

> Don’t cheat the system.

And don’t mess with the Dice Gods.

Final Words: Flow with It, But Break the Loop with Will

Alright. That’s the basic structure of the system.

Why write all this?

Because from now on, every six dice rolls = one blog post.

And in each blog, I’ll share what I did in those fields—and why.

This post was more about explaining the system itself.

From now on, we’ll zoom in more on what those dice bring.

Let’s close with a line from The School of Gods:

> “Only will can break the hypnotic circle that limits human life.”

That’s why I’m here.

To break that circle.

To animate something true.

Stick around.
